“I’ve been very fortunate to be able to collaborate with some amazing songwriters on new songs over the past 3 months,” Lee said in a press release announcing the album’s release date on Thursday. “I can’t wait for everyone to hear my debut album.”
Will fans be treated to any collaborations between Lee and some of today’s other burgeoning young stars? For now, DeWyze is keeping that information under his hat.
Lee, a former paintshop clerk from Chicago, edged out season favorite Crystal Bowersox to win the ninth season of American Idol last May.
