Former Jersey Shore star Angelina Pivarnick is nursing battle scars and a bruised ego after she was allegedly “jumped” at shopping center in her hometown of Staten Island.
Pivarnick, 22, told police she and her friend were shopping for Halloween costumes at the Staten Island Mall in New Springville, New York on Friday afternoon when a group of angry teen approached them and started throwing blows. (Nice neighborhood!) The dark-haired guidette says she was punched in the back of the head and pal Jeanine Vaiana was hit in the face with a bottle.
Adding insult to injury for Angelina’s livid mother, Ann Marie, mall security sat by leisurely and watched as Pivarnick was being pelted with glasses and punches during the brawl.
“The security guards did nothing to help them and told her, ‘This is a publicity stunt, we have no time for this,’” Mrs. Pivarnick fumes.
Mall security, on the other hand, insists things went down a bit differently. According to them, some people were filming Angelina when the crowd got too hectic and someone accidentally hit Angelina in her face. Security then ordered the rowdy group of kids to leave the store. Both Angelina and Jeanine refused medical treatment and no charges were filed, they say.
Pivarnick — who claims she was relentlessly bullied by her Shore castmates — will not be back for a third season of Jersey Shore when the show returns to MTV in January.
