Little Miss Sunshine “ain’t” so sunshiney anymore.
In 2006, Abigail Breslin melted hearts as a super-cute child star with her Oscar nominated performance in the sleeper hit Little Miss Sunshine. Now Abby’s cheeky grin and spectacles have been replaced with black eyeliner and a Taylor Momsen-esque scowl.
The actress — who last appeared in Broadway’s The Miracle Worker — shows off her dark new look in a photoshoot for the November issue of Bullet Magazine this month, sporting black hair, black clothes and black nail polish.
The cute grin may be gone, but Abigail’s acting skills are stronger than ever. Graduating from roles in Nim’s Island and the comedy Zombieland, the 14-year-old will show off her singing talents playing a teenager who attempts to forge a relationship with her rock star father after her mother, a former groupie, abandons her in an upcoming drama from Janie Jones.
