The week of Hollywood Breakups continue! Nip/Tuck star Dylan Walsh has filed for divorce from his wife of six years, actress Joanna Going, according to PEOPLE.
In court documents filed in Los Angeles this week, Walsh, 47, cites “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split. The actor is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s 7-year-old daughter, Stella, and is also reportedly offering to pay spousal support to Going.
Walsh was previously married to Big Love’s Melora Walters. They divorced in 2003 after seven years of marriage.
The Walsh/Going breakup is the fifth celebrity split announced this week. On Tuesday, sweethearts Ryan Reynolds and Scarlett Johansson announced that they’re calling it quits after two years of marriage. Liz Hurley revealed she and husband Arun Nayar have separated on her Twitter page on Sunday; Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are splitting — and officially hate one another, if tabloid dish is to be believed; and Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, who met and fell in love on the set of Disney’s High School Musical, called it quits, according to several reports that first hit the blogosphere on Monday.
