“The Real Housewives Of New York City” Set Robbed

A vehicle belonging to the production crew of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York was robbed of $30,000 worth of equipment while parked on set in the Big Apple last month.

The robbery reportedly occured as Housewives stars Alex McCord, her husband Simon Van Kempen, Sonja Morgan, and Ramona Singer dined at the Emperor’s Brand launch of Giorgio G Cognac at New York City’s Pierre Hotel, The New York Post reports.
“The van was parked right outside the Pierre near the ballroom entrance. Thieves broke the lock and stole a bunch of camera equipment and crew wallets,” an informant tells the paper
“Two long lenses, tripods and a couple of crew bags were stolen. About $30,000 worth of equipment. A police report and insurance claims have been filed,” according to a Bravo rep.
