Keeping your favorite acts in the game will be just as easy as logging-on to Facebook once the American adaptation of Simon Cowell’s The X Factor premieres on FOX this fall.

X Factor producers are reportedly in talks with the social networking site to set up the new voting system, informants types squealed to London’s The Sun Wednesday.

Here’s how it would work: Viewers would be able to use Facebook to vote for their favorite X Factor acts to go through to the next round each week, while phone voting will still be available.
