A new small series based on the butt-kicking DC Comics character is currently in development, Deadline.com dished on Saturday.
Boston Legal and Ally McBeal creator David E. Kelley has been tapped to produce the proposed action series, which will likely focus on the superheroine — best known for taking a bite out of crime in her signature bust-baring tops and booty shorts — in her crimefighting habitat.
The last live-action project to focus on Wonder Woman aired on television between 1975 and 1979 and featured actress Lynda Carter in the iconic role.
Wonder Woman first appeared in print in Last summer, DC Comics revamped the classic character with slightly more modern, and significantly more cover, makeover.
