“Jersey Shore’s” Ronnie Magro-Ortiz Arrested For Unpaid Parking Tickets

Beefed-up Jersey Shore GTLer Ronnie Magro-Ortiz has only one rule on the show that made him famous: “Don’t fall in love at the Jersey Shore.” Too bad he doesn’t have similar rules about avoiding the long arm of the law.

Early Sunday, the 24-year-old Bronx native-turned-MTV reality star was arrested at the Shore house by Seaside Heights Police Department officers for outstanding warrants stemming from non-payment of a series of parking tickets. One warrant orginated in Annandale, New Jersey while the other was issued by authorities in nearby Stewartsville.

Ortiz paid an unspecified sum in fines and was promptly released.

“On August 15, 2010, Ronald Ortiz was placed under arrest for outstanding warrants from two separate jurisdictions. One identified as Union Township of Annandale, NJ. The other identified as Greenwich Township of Stewartsville, NJ. Mr. Ortiz was transported to the Seaside Heights Police Department where he was processed and later released after satisfying the conditions of these warrants.”

This isn’t Ronnie’s first brush with justice. Last spring, the muscular “guido” was pinched for punching a guy who fired off a racial slur at his bodyguard during Shore’s first season. Ortiz was slapped with a charge of aggravated assault after that little stunt.

Ronnie’s bust comes just two weeks after his castmate Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi was arrested for disorderly conduct.
