The stork has made a special delivery to one of the entertainment world’s oddest couples: Kick-Ass star Aaron Johnson, 19, and his fiancé Sam Taylor-Wood, 43, welcomed their first child together earlier this month.
Taylor-Wood, a divorced director, gave birth to a daughter, Wylda Rae, on Wednesday, July 7. Johnson’s Kick-Ass co-star Christopher Mintz-Plasse confirmed Wylda’s birth on Twitter, writing in a post last week: “Aaron Johnson’s baby was born! So exciting!” No other details about the birth are available.
The young actor met Taylor-Wood in 2009 on the set of the John Lennon biopic Nowhere Boy. They announced their engagement and Taylor-Wood’s pregnancy in March. The middle-aged Brit has two children from her first marriage to Jay Jopling.
