louis damon kristina 10 Spoilers: Vampire Diaries fisticuffs, Suits scoop, and Parenthoods Kristina gets more bad newsSince Mondays are just the worst, we here at Zap2it
have decided to give your week a much-needed wake-up call with 10 TV
teasers — just to remind you that when the work day is over, your DVR
waits to welcome you home.

In this week’s Monday Kickstart,
you’ll get a “Vampire Diaries” Salvatore status update, hear about an upcoming villain-of-the-week on “Arrow,” get details on “Suits'” return, and a little inside scoop on “American Horror Story’s” highly anticipated Season 2 premiere.

“Arrow”: In episode 110, Oliver will meet Garfield — a firefighter who was horribly burned three years ago, and never recovered from the trauma. Since then, he’s been abandoned by his wife and kids, and he’s now described as a “bitter, vengeful shell of a man.” Meanwhile, the Starling City Fire Chief is also haunted by Garfield’s injury… since he’s the one who was forced to leave Garfield behind to burn.

“Suits”: First of all, let’s celebrate the good news: “Suits” was officially picked up for Season 3! Someone get the can opener. We still have the second half of Season 2 to look forward to, though — and when the show returns this winter, we’re going to meet a character described as… wait for it… “The British Louis Litt.” Nigel is snooty, uppity, and enjoys the theater, the opera, and the works of Jane Austen — so he and Louis should be BFFs, right? Not so much.

“Suburgatory”: Chatswin celebrates Halloween in the season’s second episode, and Tessa, Lisa, Malik and Ryan decide to dress up as the “Scooby-Doo” gang — although there’s some confusion about who’s playing which character. Awk. Ward. Also, look for Fred and Sheila Shay to dress up as “American Gothic,” and George not to want to dress up at all — which does not sit well with Dallas.

“Modern Family”: One of the stories in Wednesday’s episode, “The Butler’s Escape,” is about Mitchell and Cam switching roles as Cam starts his new job as a music teacher. The day doesn’t start off real well for either one, but Mitchell really seems to pull it together by the end. Emphasis on “seems” — you’ll find it takes more than one Pritchett to get the job done.

“American Horror Story: Asylum”
: The livelihood of Clea Duvall’s character, Wendy, depends on keeping her relationship with Lana (Sara Paulson) a secret. When that secret falls into the wrong hands, though, Wendy will have to make a very tough decision about where her priorities lie.

“The Vampire Diaries”: Yes, you did see Stefan punching Damon in the trailer for this week’s episode. We have to say, Damon kind of deserves it — he gets Stefan’s fist to his face after telling Stefan something he knows will hurt his feelings. That said, the punch is the end of the fight, not the beginning of it. By the end of the episode, Stefan makes sure Damon is included in an extremely touching gesture. Awww.

“Parenthood”: We were thrilled to see Haddie return in last week’s episode. In this week’s, she’s able to be there for Kristina through her lumpectomy, and the mother and daughter share some sweet moments. By the end of the episode, though, it’s time for her to go back to Cornell. In fact, when Kristina gets some more bad news, Adam will choose not to share it with Haddie so Haddie can better enjoy her time at college.

“Nikita”: In an upcoming episode, we’ll meet Kate — a woman who believes her dangerous ex-husband has found her and is stalking her. One problem: Her husband was apparently executed in Texas five years ago. Nikita and Owen are on the case… but so is her boyfriend, Jason Decker, a Pennsylvania State Police Lieutenant.

“Partners”: In an upcoming episode, we’ll see more of Wyatt’s workplace — the hospital. Unfortunately, we’re there because Louis accidentally takes Elphaba the dog’s medication. While Louis is considering a future career as a seeing eye dog, we find out that Wyatt’s been keeping a secret from his boyfriend… a big one.

“Revenge”: We already know that Adrienne Barbeau has been cast as Victoria Grayson’s mother, but the “Revenge” bosses are now looking to cast a younger version of Barbeau’s character, too. Yes — that means we get to flash back to Victoria’s childhood, when her mother prioritized men and gold-digging over the welfare of her own child.
