“She was a great lover of what she did”, these are the words said about late Lynn Redgrave, the famous actor who has died of breast cancer at the age of 67.
She had her son, Ben, and daughters, Pema and Annabel with her in the last moments of her life. They said expressing their love for mother that she passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer.
Lynn Redgrave, a member of Redgrave acting dynasty, will always be alive in the memories as a mother, grandmother, friend, writer, actor and all other roles that she lived in her journey of life, stated her children.
After Redgrave’s elder brother Corin and her niece Natasha, this is the third death in their family. The funeral is expected to be in coming week.
As she was being nominated for Oscars twice – once in 1967 for best actress in Georgy Girl and again in 1999 for best supporting actress in Gods and Monsters, the actress made remarkable achievements in her career life.
She was a good actress with outstanding performance in one-woman play Shakespeare For My Father, Mrs. Warren’s Profession and The Constant Wife, which all received Tony nominations.
