WINNER: NBC

Who would have guessed the magic formula for rescuing NBC was “karaoke + apocalypse”? Thanks to The Voice and Revolution, along with trusty mainstay Sunday Night Football, NBC shot to first place this fall in the adults 18-49 demographic and is the only broadcaster to post year-over-year ratings gains (up 23 percent). Can NBC’s sunny fortunes last? Unlikely! But it’s great to see the Peacock back in the fight.
