The Continental Airlines flight 3006 boarding 45 passengers flying from Houston to Washington had to divert its way on Wednesday after a threatening message of terror attack written in the flight’s washroom.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said, “A threatening message was written on a lavatory mirror on board Continental Airlines flight 3006 from Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH) to Washington Dulles Airport (IAD).
The flight was then diverted to Piedmont Triad International Airport near Greensboro “out of an abundance of caution and safely landed at 10:43 am.”
This incident has taken place just a day after when Delta Airlines flight from French capital Paris was flying to US city of Atlanta had to divert to Maine’s airport after a former Air Force member claimed to have a fake passport as well as explosives in his baggage.
