125651301 Aaron Sorkin Strongly Considering Writing Steve Jobs MovieAaron Sorkin has already won an Oscar for his screenplay about one tech guru — Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in ‘The Social Network’ — and now he might pen the biopic about the late Steve Jobs. Sorkin told E! Online he’s been asked to adapt Walter Isaacson’s biography of the Apple cofounder. “Sony has asked me to write the movie and it’s something I’m strongly considering,” Sorkin told the site. “Right now I’m just in the thinking-about-it stages,” he said. “It’s a really big movie and it’s going to be a great movie no matter who writes it.”

Sorkin, who also co-wrote the ‘Moneyball’ script, says he’s currently reading Isaacson’s ‘Steve Jobs.’ “He was a great entrepreneur, he was a great artist, a great thinker,” Sorkin said of Jobs, who died in October after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Latest rumors have Noah Wyle (who portrayed Jobs in a 1999 TV movie) and George Clooney vying for the lead role. Clooney was attached at one point to direct the war-on-terror court-room thriller ‘Hamdan vs. Rumsfeld,’ from a Sorkin script. And the two Oscar winners do share a love of talky political dramas.
