On Wednesday, the mother of eight promptly put the kibosh on a Life & Style report claiming she is in chats for a new dating show on ABC, but the faux scoop has inspired network president Steve McPherson to toy with the idea of having the Octomom become the next Bachelorette. In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on KIIS-FM this week, McPherson said he believes Gosselin — who divorced ex-hubby Jon Gosselin last year — “could be great” on the popular show.
Bachelor and Bachelorette creator Mike Fleiss says he isn’t opposed to the idea of casting Kate: “I guess it’s kinda interesting. I’ve never thought about it. Seriously, it would have to be a special edition of the Bachelorette – I wouldn’t want to jump the shark.”
