‘American Idol’: Skylar Laine is ‘Hell on Heels’ for the judges

Skylar Laine was one of the first auditions we saw during the “American Idol” Galveston, Texax episode. She busted out the Pistol Annies’ “Hell on Heels” for the judges, after a video package showing off how rootin’ tootin’ she is and what not.
The judges barely hesitated before sending her through with flying colors. Jennifer Lopez remarked, “I love it. We know exactly who she is and that’s part of what I love about her.” And the other two just had resounding yes votes.

What did you think? We thought she was pretty good. Maybe needs a little polish, but definitely good enough to advance to Hollywood.
