Anthony Horowitz Hired for Tintin Sequel

We’re still half a year away from Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn , but now, thanks to Richard Bacon’s Radio 5 (via Bleeding Cool ), we know that not only is novelist Anthony Horowitz part of the writing team, but the focus (and title) of the sequel is Prisoners of the Sun .

In the original Hergé comics, “Prisoners of the Sun” is the second book of a two-part story that follows “The Seven Crystal Balls.” It is almost certain that the script will include both parts, retaining the title of the latter. (Much like the first film, which adapts both Hergé’s “The Secret of the Unicorn” and “Red Rackham’s Treasure,” using the title of the former).
