archer olympics hiatus Archer and Justified going on Olympics hiatus; Fifty Shades actress joins ABC pilotNews and notes from all over TV:

- FX is putting a few of its shows on a brief hiatus during the Winter Olympics. “Archer” and “Chozen” will be off for the next two weeks and return Monday, Feb. 24. “Justified” will air Tuesday (Feb. 11) as scheduled but will take the following week off, then return Feb. 25.

- “Fifty Shades of Grey” actress Eloise Mumford will star in ABC’s drama pilot “Warriors.” Inspired by cases at the Walter Reed Military Medical Center, the pilot follows a group of military doctors and nurses as they treat everything from critically wounded soldiers to Washington’s elite. Mumford, who previously starred on ABC’s “The River,” will play Tony Sterling, a psychiatrist recently returned from a tour in Afghanistan and an expert on PTSD — and who suffers from a mild case herself. - AMC ordered a 10-episode reality series about the inaugural season of the LA KISS, a new Arena Football League team owned by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley. The one-hour untitled show will premiere in the summer.

- Good news for anyone who wants to catch up on or rewatch ABC’s “Nashville” — Hulu Plus just acquired the exclusive SVOD rights to full seasons of the show. Beginning immediately, subscribers can watch all past episodes, from the series debut to the most recently aired episode. Meanwhile, current season episodes will continue to be available on the free Hulu site for non-subscribers.

- ABC has extended its contract with Dick Clark Productions to air both “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” and the American Music Awards for a long time to come. The “Rockin’ Eve” deal runs for 10 years — through the 2023-24 season — and the one for the AMAs is for nine years.

- Debi Mazar (“Entourage”) has joined the cast of TV Land’s pilot “Younger” from Darren Star. Mazar — who’s also appearing in the “Entourage” movie — will play the best friend of Sutton Foster‘s character, a 40-year-old woman who passes herself off as 26 to land a job.

- “Dancing with the Stars” has found its replacement for recently fired bandleader Harold Wheeler. Ray Chew, formerly the bandleader for “American Idol” and music director for the 2013 Emmy Awards, will take over for Wheeler in Season 18 (premiering Monday, March 17).

- Maggie Q has found her first post-“Nikita” TV project. The actress is attached to star in “Red Flag,” a limited series set in the early 1800s. Centered on Ching Shih, a beautiful young Chinese prostitute who went on to become one of history’s most powerful pirates and the head of China’s most successful crime syndicate. With over 100,000 sailors and 1,500-plus, Shih controlled the South China Sea while taking on, and eventually conquering the Imperial Chinese navy, the Portuguese navy and the British navy. “Red Flag” isn’t currently attached to a network. - Looks like that proposed “Modern Family” spinoff featuring Rob Riggle has been put on hold. The comedian has, instead, joined Rob Lowe’s NBC comedy pilot, “The Pro.” Centered on Lowe’s Ben Bertraham, a former doubles tennis champ, Riggle will co-star as his estranged partner, Bobby Welch. The duo wind up becoming co-pros at the tennis and golf club where the series is set. [THR]

- “Outlander” author Diana Gabaldon has revealed more details about her cameo in the upcoming Starz series adaptation of her novel. Originally intended to be a simple walk-on bit, Gabaldon reveals that Matt Roberts, the writer of her particular episode, wrote her into a small scene, complete with a few lines of dialogue. “”The lady in question is at the Gathering, and the scenelet in question takes place in one of the galleries over the Great Hall,” the author teases. “I’m not supposed to post set photos or describe the sets in great detail–but hey, you’ve read the book. You know what it looks like.” “Outlander” will premiere on Starz later this year. [Facebook]
