Great news, Clone Club:
“Orphan Black” is getting a comic book. The series will be released in early 2015, and will tell “all-new stories set in the complex and thrilling world of ‘Orphan Black.'”
No, Tatiana Maslany will not be writing them — seestra’s got enough jobs already — but IDW Publishing will work closely with the show’s producers to build on the world created in the BBC America hit.
“‘Orphan Black,’ in addition to being a captivating TV series, is a perfect premise for comics,” says IDW Chief Creative Officer/Editor in Chief Chris Ryall in a statement. “As the second season has expanded the series in exciting new directions, that has only increased the amount of stories we’ll be able to tell in comic-book form.”
