The famous yoga teacher, Baba Ramdev have successfully established yoga centers in Nepal and now he is really keen to take this traditional Indian fitness system over to Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
Ramdev said, “I want to take yoga to Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Bangladesh and want to link it with Buddhism.”
Talking about his eagerness to take yoga to Pakistan, he said,” I also want to go to Pakistan where people are keen to learn yoga but I cannot afford to risk the lives of my instructors and disciples with an open air yoga camp in Pakistan given the current political situation.”
Ramdev reveled that he will be using yoga as a tool to gather votes in the 2014 general elections in India.
Speaking on the Indian politics he said, “Politics in India is shame. It has failed to take the benefits of education and economic development to the common people.” He added, “People say that there is no scope for honesty in politics and I want to change this notion.”
Ramdev also unveiled that his party ‘Bharat Swabhiman Andolan’ has taken a decision to stand in election to change governance in India.
