Barbara Walters broke her own rule in this year’s “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2011.” She named a man to the top spot who passed away this year. It’s easy to see what would prompt her to do so. The number one most fascinating person this year was Steve Jobs.
Walters said that when he retired, she knew he’d be her pick. When he passed away, she decided to keep him on it because, like Jobs believed, “rules were made to be broken.” Most people assumed that he wouldn’t be on it because of her long standing rule, but no one is complaining.
What they are griping about is why a list with someone like Steve Jobs would also include Pippa Middleton, who is famous for her rear end (oh, and that sister of hers), the Kardashians. What did you think of Barbara Walters’ picks? Do you agree? Let us know in the comments.
