The film is currently in production in Bangkok. Clinton — who will be playing himself in the feature — filmed his brief appearance in the buzzed-about comedy while in town to give a speech on clean energy on Saturday.
Troubled Oscar winner Mel Gibson had been cast as a tattoo artist in the follow-up to the hit 2008 bachelor-themed comedy, but was replaced by Neeson after complaints from Hangover cast and crew.
The Hangover 2 opens in theaters May 26, 2011.
