‘Bourne Legacy’ Premiere: Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz Hit The Red Carpet

Five years after Jason Bourne’s last adventure, a new character has been (ahem) born.
“The Bourne Legacy,” the fourth film in the “Bourne” series, stars Jeremy Renner, taking over for Matt Damon’s on-the-lam Treadstone operative. Here, Renner plays Aaron Cross, another superagent who wants out of a secret government program. (For all you “Bourne” loyalists out there, the film isn’t a complete reboot of the series; it takes place in the same universe the Damon films did.)

Last night, all the new stars — Renner, Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton — gathered on the red carpet for the world premiere of “The Bourne Legacy” in New York City.
