The Superlab has not been a very happy place for Walter White on this season of “Breaking Bad.”

First, Walt (Bryan Cranston) watched as Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) slit Victor’s throat in the season premiere. He has surveillance cameras and Gus’ new underling Tyrus (Ray Campbell) watching him all the time. And now, with Jesse (Aaron Paul) MIA, Walt is having trouble keeping the cook on schedule, as you can see in the preview clip from Sunday’s (Aug. 14) episode, “Shotgun.”

There are echoes of the bravura scene with Gus from the season premiere in the clip above — a long stretch of silence as a man goes about his work in the lab, then Walt talking and talking without getting the response he wants. Fortunately for him, there’s a more benign end to this scene.

“Breaking Bad” airs at 10 p.m. ET Sunday on AMC. For more, follow the show on Facebook and Twitter.
