Dr. Jack Kevorkian has died at 83, RadarOnline.com has learned.
The controversial doctor passed at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan on Friday, where he was staying for treatment for kidney and heart problems.

“It was peaceful, he didn’t feel a thing,” his lawyer Mayer Morganroth told the Detroit Free Press.
Since 1990, Kevorkian had presided over an estimated 139 assisted suicides, earning him his macabre nickname.

With a regular front page presence in the 90s, Kevorkian been charged with murder four times, and acquitted on three of them, with a mistrial declared in one of them. But in 1999, he was convicted of second degree murder in the death of Lou Gehrig’s patient Thomas Youk, spending eight years behind bars. His parole ended in 2009.
His news-making life was chronicled in HBO’s film You Don’t Know Jack in which he was played by Al Pacino.
