Bret Michaels returned to the stage for the first time since his highly-publicized triple health crisis — a brain hemorrhage followed by a warning stroke and a hole in the heart — at the live American Idol finale in Hollywood on Wednesday night, joining Idol 9 finalist Casey James for a rendition of Poison’s ’80s hit, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.”
