Hot on the Web Right Now: Reps’ lips are sealed, but the blogosphere is abuzz with whispers that Jive Records darling Britney Spears will perform her new single “Hold It Against Me” — as well as a medley of hits that have topped the charts over the course of her almost 12 year career — during the 2011 Grammys next month.
Britney’s latest pop banger, which is the first single from her forthcoming studio album, is currently the No. 1 song on iTunes — less than 24 hours after its release. The still-untitled disc is due out sometime in March.
The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will broadcast live from Los Angeles (CBS 8PM/ET) on Feb. 13.
