It seems like yesterday she grew up before our eyes, a 12-year-old curly-haired girl tolling around 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Now 30, Chelsea Clinton is ready to take the next step in life: marriage. Sadly, this news hasn’t put everyone in a nostalgic kinda mood! A New York City bride-to-be who is getting married the same day in the same town as Chelsea has accused the former First Daughter of turning her big day into “hell.”
“I know she’s not doing it on purpose, but Chelsea Clinton has taken what was supposed to be a special day for me and turned it into hell,” bride Emn Haddad-Friedman told Yahoo’s Shine blog Wednesday.
While The Clintons have yet to tell guests where to show up for next weekend’s wedding, Chelsea’s nups to Wall Street banker Marc Mezvinsky are widely reported to be going down in Rhinbeck, NY. Haddad-Friedman, 28, began planning her July 31, 2010 wedding to her college sweetheart at an inn in the quaint upstate New York enclave Rhinbeck two years ago.
It’s a mistake that may prove fatal for any hopes Emn had of a peaceful wedding.

The nervous bride is worried that security measures — like closed roads — will inconvenience her guests and invite the glare of paparazzi desperate for a shot of the only daughter of Bill and Hillary Clinton walking down the aisle.
“We’re in a recession; we don’t have the highest-paying jobs. I’m happy for Chelsea, but she’s got planners, and I’ve got my mom. I’m freaking out, and my mom is going nuts.”
Haddad-Friedman has been in frequent contact with the Rhinebeck Police in an effort to confirm details of Chelsea’s wedding, but they will tell her nothing.
If it’s any consulation, PopCrunch reader Steve cites an inside snoop who claims that Chelsea’s big day won’t be hosted in the town of Rhinbeck at all. According to Steve (Don’t quote me on anything!), Chelsea and Marc will instead wed at Trump National Golf Club, in Briarcliff Manor, NY, where Bill is a member. The posh facility is located 30 min. north of NYC and 10 min. from the Clinton’s Chappaqua home. We hear guests will be notified of this news on Sunday.
