The leading 3G network on India, BSNL has launched its 3G services in Imphal, the capital city of Manipur. Now using the 3G service the people in north eastern state of Manipur would be able to access faster downloads as well as quicker Internet access in a go.
The chief general manager of BSNL North East II Circle Ranjan Sanyal launched this service at an event at Imphal. In the coming weeks, these services will be spread to several other areas in the state like Thoubal, Churachandpur and Senapati.
BSNL will soon be launching its services in Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh as well.
BSNL seems to run to be the ace player in 3G sector prior to the private companies get licenses for operating in the 3G era. BSNL is even planning to jump to the areas of North East India.
