Charlie Hunnam Heads to Pacific Rim
Charlie Hunnam is the first member to join the cast of Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim , Deadline reports.
Best known for appearing opposite del Toro regular Ron Perlman on “Sons of Anarchy,” Hunnam has appeared on the big screen in films like Cold Mountain and Children of Men .
Though specific characters are still unknown, Pacific Rim is a science fiction script from Travis Beacham. A Kaiju film of sorts, the plot sees a future Earth defending itself from attacking creatures.
The Legendary Pictures production is aiming for a summer 2013 release.
