R&B singer Chris Brown broke down in tears during his Michael Jackson tribute at the BET Awards last week when he got to ”Man in the Mirror” – but a witness claims it was all a sham.
The witness has claimed that the 21-year-old singer used some eye-drops just before the performance that made his eyes teary.
“He rubbed it in and he started crying,” The New York Daily News quoted a source as telling the gossip site.
Brown”s rep, meanwhile, has rubbished the accusations.
“[He] was moved by the opportunity to pay tribute to his idol,” he told entertainmentwise.com.
