Chris Klein has decided to extend his stay in rehab. The actor — pinched twice in the past five years for driving while intoxicated — checked into Cirque Lodge Treatment Center in Utah after his second DUI arrest last month.

The American Pie star was speeding down the Los Angeles Freeway — with his dog riding shotgun — when his car was pulled over by cops. The drunkard was then hauled over to County Jail and slapped with two misdemeanor charges.So far, Klein has completed over 30 days of treatment, but is facing jail time over the dual DUI charges.
“Chris, along with his support team, has decided to extend his treatment. He is doing fantastic and is optimistic about his future. He thanks everyone for their continued support,” Klein’s rep tells PEOPLE Magazine.
