‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks says she is now in danger of being typecast after her famous Joan Holloway character.

Christina, who was recently voted ‘world’s sexiest woman’ in a poll for Esquire magazine, has no fewer than four films in the pipeline.

“Before I played Joan people used to say, ‘I don’t see her being tough enough for this role,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.

“Now that I’ve played Joan it’s sort of the opposite. It’s like, ‘We need a bitch – call Christina.’ I’m like, ‘Wait a minute, I’m nice. I promise,’” she added.

The 35-year-old actress’ rose to fame as femme fatal Joan Holloway in the hit US series about a New York advertising agency.
