cruzstarphoto Cine Latino: Penelope Cruz Becomes Woody Allen’s Muse in ‘The Bop Decameron’ and Receives Spanish Walk of Fame StarAcademy Award winner Penelope Cruz continues to make headlines and this time reports confirm that the Spanish actress will indeed be starring in Woody Allen’s next film, tentatively entitled The Bop Decameron. This will be Allen’s second film with Cruz but the first time in his four-decade career he has shot a film in Rome. The cast includes Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Judy Davis, Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page. Production is set to begin in two weeks.

Cruz, who just recently had a baby boy with husband Javier Bardem,is not only juggling life as a working mom but she’s also fitting in time to receive accolades for her work. Two months ago Cruz received a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame and just a few days ago was honored with another star, this time in her native homeland. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Spain’s Academy of Arts and Sciences inaugurated ‘La Calle de las Estrellas’ (The Road to the Stars) by honoring 25 of its most talented actors. Cruz, Bardem and director Pedro Almodovar unveiled the walk and their new stars in Madrid.
