McKinley High will be saying goodbye to Coach Ken Tanaka on the hotly-anticipated sophomore season of Glee. The character — portrayed Patrick Gallagher — is expected to be replaced by a new football coach on the next season of the Emmy-nominated musical-comedy.

Glee will instead be welcoming actress Dot Jones as the school’s new football coach, Shannon Bestie, TVGuide.com said Tuesday.
