Comic-Con 2011: George R.R. Martin talks ‘Game of Thrones’

A special treat for Game of Thrones fans: George R. R. Martin, author of A Song of Fire and Ice, the fantasy book series that the HBO series is based on, dropped by EW’s lounge at Comic-Con on Saturday. Martin talked about how the TV show’s popularity has impacted the book series’ readership, and what it was like writing an episode for the upcoming second season.
