Creed frontman Scott Stapp and his wife Jaclyn welcomed a son, Daniel Issam Stapp, on Independence Day, Stapp announced in an update to his Facebook page last week.

In a touching birth annoucement, Stapp wrote: “God is so good! We praise Him to day. At 3:01 est. Jaclyn gave birth to Daniel Issam Stapp, a beautiful, healthy, baby boy! It is such a true blessing to be a Father and husband! Again, I am reminded of how deeply I love, how deeply I respect, how deeply I admire, and how deeply I appreciate, my best friend, my only love, my wife….Jaclyn. She has saved my life and every day shows me the true meaning of life, of love…”
The couple have been married for six years. Daniel will be joining the couple’s three-year-old daughter, Milan, and Scott’s 11-year-old son from a previous relationship, Jagger.
