Let’s get ready to roast! Bad hair jokes and barbs about bankruptcy will fly when real estate magnate Donald Trump gets in The Hot Seat for Comedy Central’s Roast of Donald Trump.

“I’ll show up to the Roast because Comedy Central is paying me a lot of money, but I’m confused as to how anybody could make fun of me,” Mr. Atlantic City joked upon learning that he’ll be 2011′s Comedy Central roastee.

“Donald Trump is a brilliant businessman, who has made the Trump name a worldwide brand,” says Comedy Central executive Elizabeth Porter. “We are so glad he agreed to be roasted. I’m hoping he buys me a plane.”

Trump’s roast marks the first time since 2005 that the franchise has filmed in the City That Never Sleeps. Previous roastees include Dennis Leary, David Hasselhoff, Joan Rivers, Flavor Flav, and Jeff Foxworthy, whose show stands to be the “top-rated roast of all time.”

The show will tape in New York City on March 9 and is expected to air in the Summer of 2011.
