One of the buzzed about films premiering at SXSW was Joss Whedon’s The Cabin in the Woods. I sat down with Director and Co-Writer Drew Goddard about the horror flick, why he’s not on Twitter and his advice for up and coming filmmakers.

He shared that it’s great to be in Austin to “actually meet fans in person. That’s such a foreign element these days.” The film will be in theaters April 13th.

As for upcoming projects with his cohort Whedon? Goddard said they’re definitely open to the idea of a web series, but he (along with many fans) would also really love to see a Dr. Horrible Sing-Along Blog Sequel.
