Cheryl Burke has given lessons on how to a Paso Doble, so now she’d like to hand out a few red roses.

The Dancing with the Stars pro has made it clear to ABC that, should they be on the lookout for a hot hoofer to headline the network’s female dating franchise, she’d like to apply for the job.

“I did interview with the execs and we’ll see what happens in the future,” Burke told reporters after Monday’s episode. “It’s not a firm offer. It hasn’t been an offer but if they offer it to me, I would love to do it.”

Burke said finding love in Hollywood isn’t so easy for a gal like her. “It sounds crazy but I think I’m just so married to my work and I rarely meet new people. I’ve been around the same people for the last six years. I have maybe a month and a half of down time and all I want to do during that time is be with my family and sleep so it’s hard for me to be introduced to guys. I make the wrong choices. I dated a couple of guys over the summer and it turned out all bad so I figure if someone were to make the choice for me, then maybe I would have a better chance. I would make a choice…out of a pool of men, hopefully there would be one special person.”

Fortunately for Burke, a celebrity is on this season’s all-star to offer advice  — former Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft. “I’ll help her weed out the ones who are not worthy,” said Rycroft. “I would say to whoever goes into that role, I don’t think you can necessarily go in and go, I’m going to find my mate, my spouse. Go in saying, this is a new adventure. If it leads me that way, or if it at least gives me a great new relationship, take that.” – With reporting from Carole Gilnes
