Eddie Cibrian isn’t just losing his ball & chain — he’s also out of a job: The co-star shagging actor has been dropped from the cast of the CBS’ crime drama CSI: Miami.
Series producers have decided to release the actor from his contract after one season with the show, according to E! TV Gossip Gal Krisitn Dos Santos.
Cibrian joined the program last season as Jesse Cardoza, a replacement for original cast member Adam Rodriguez. His exit comes after news that Rodriguez, who plays Det. Eric Delko on the show, will return this fall as a series regular. In light of that announcement, producers have opted to turn the show’s focus back to the original cast, eliminating the need for LeAnn’s penis supplier.
CSI: Miami will be returning for a ninth season in September.
