Diva Duet! Elton John & Lady Gaga — who famously shared the stage at the 2010 Grammy Awards in February — will blend their vocals on a collaborative track titled “Hello, Hello,” the theme from Touchstone Pictures’ upcoming animated flick Gnomeo & Juliet!
The new song will accompany a scene in the movie where the two lead characters, lawn ornaments Gnomeo and Juliet, voiced by actors James McAvoy and Emily Blunt, first meet.
The comedy, which hits theaters Feb. 11, 2011, is being produced by Elton’s longtime partner, David Furnish, and will feature the voiceover talents of Michael Caine, Patrick Stewart, Hulk Hogan, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dolly Parton.
