Fairfax Media has launched a locally designed iPad app and it is expected to go on sale in Australia soon. The app was created for the Media’s Sport & Style magazine. Hyundai has sponsored its first edition.

The magazine is the first title from Fairfax house having own iPad and is distributed free each month in the Sydney Morning and The Age.

The iPad comes with features like video, animation, 360-degree view and pictures from the print edition.

The advertisers now have more opportunities to enhance their visibility with the iPad version of the magazine. The magazine may also considered those advertisers who want to place ads only for the iPad.
