Even if you’re in that odd minority of folks who hate all things ‘Harry Potter’ for reasons beyond our comprehension, you might just want to think twice about nixing that midnight showing of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2′ this week and get on the bandwagon with the rest of us muggles. After months of endless teasing and viral marketing that’s had anyone and everyone crapping themselves with anticipation over Christopher Nolan’s next visit to the world of Batman, word on the street is that the first teaser trailer for ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will be playing in front of H.P.’s last hurrah.
Not that Warner Bros. needed any help whatsoever to make sure that these two movies are going to flat-out destroy at the box office, but the jump to hear the details on what to expect.
From what we’ve heard, the trailer apparently has a running time of 1 minute and 33 seconds and will be playing in all 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D showings of ‘Deathly Hallows.’ And as a little bonus of sorts, it sounds like we’ll also be getting a look at the first trailer for ‘Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows’ and a new trailer for ‘Happy Feet Two.’

Granted, we still have to wait until July 20, 2012, for the finished product to finally come out, but if the awesomeness of ‘The Dark Knight’ was any indication, we are more than happy to wait and are just chomping at the bit to see this teaser already.
What are you more excited for: the first ‘Dark Knight Rises’ teaser, or the final ‘Harry Potter’ movie?
