Because of HTML 5 technology, it looks like that Adobe’s Flash is fast fading away into history. This prediction was made sometime back by Apple CEO Steve Jobs, and he seems to have predicted it right.
HTML 5 is the technology that is now being used in the iPad and other modern devices for video in lieu of Flash. According to Steve, “Sometimes you have to pick the things that look like the right horses to ride going forward, and Flash looks like a technology that had its day and is waning. And HTML 5 looks like the technology that is really on the ascendancy right now.”
He says that the decision to avoid Flash was not intentional. He said that people are found of iPads and Apple has sold one such device in every three seconds after it was launched.
