Google Inc. now aims to answer this worrisome problem that which is the right program that the viewers can select for themselves while selecting from hundreds of TV channels.
To solve this riddle, the company held a developer conference on Thursday in San Francisco. The meeting came out with a solution in the form of Google TV that will integrate TV with the web and provide the solution to the problem of selecting a right channel.
The new television platform, Google TV, will enable the viewers to have easier access to content on Internet on their televisions. This will provide them with more choice mix. They can get their choice of television shows and Internet content through a single search box. This also ensures that the viewers are able to escape from current fumbling with remotes and clumsy programming guides.
The first sale of set-top box and Blu-ray players will start this fall in partnership with chipmaker Intel Crop, electronics giant Sony Corp and device maker Logitech. Overall, this device will help viewers to search for television channels and Internet sites from on box that will be displayed on the TV screen in a corner.
