Hathaway leapt to the defense of her “Love and Other Drugs” co-star Jake Gyllenhaal when she pretended to scold a nosy reporter prying into the actor”s personal life, reported The Daily Telegraph.
Gyllenhaal is said to be romancing 20-year-old singer Taylor Swift and the romance was the hot topic at a New York press conference for his new film.
But Hathway stepped in and asked the reporter to limit the questions to the movie only.
She joked, “Hang on, hang on, I have to say something! I have been Jake”s on-screen love interest for years, all right? You keep the conversation to me and only me, otherwise I”m going to get nasty!”
