Hilary Duff “Community” Guest Appearance

Hilary Duff is headed back to school on the NBC comedy Community.

The clean-cut newlywed, 22, has been cast as part of a “mean girl clique” that clashes with the show’s resident Greendale gals in one episode of the hit series, Entertainment Weekly has learned. The gig couldn’t come at a better time for the former Disney star, who is slowly adjusting to the realities of a long distance marriage after wedding ice hockey ace Mike Comrie last month. Hilary finds it hard to be away from her new spouse, who is busy circling the Globe with the Pittsburgh Penguins, while she is living in Los Angeles for work.

“Now he’s gone and I’m like, ‘No, you left me too soon! What’s happening?’ That kind of sucks. But we’re used to that long distance thing and we’re going to figure it out. It means a lot of traveling for me this year, but that’s OK.”

Duff is slated to make her Community debut during the November sweeps period.
