In Memoriam snubs: 6 stars left out of Emmys montage

Highlight on New Movie Released DVD

Putting together the In Memoriam montage for any awards show must be a tall order, because so many great artists are lost every year. The 68th Primetime Emmy Awards honored all the big names — David Bowie, Ken Howard, Garry Marshall, Prince, Alan Rickman, Doris Roberts, Garry Shandling, Morley Safer, Gene WIlder and many, many more.

But as always, in an effort to include just as many behind-the-scenes contributors — who are just as important to honor as the on-screen stars — the montage invariably left out some of TV’s memorable faces lost this past year.
