The ‘G-Fone’ brand from Bright Telecom has launched the G-588, a complete QWERTY keyboard, dual SIM along with dual mode in India. Dual mode means that the mobile phone would be able to be used in various modes such as GSM + GSM or GSM + CDMA.
The G-588 has a preinstalled Nimbuzz to make it social networking friendly. It also features a simple multimedia player which supports different file formats along with 8GB memory support. It even has a localized, Indian Calendar which lists India’s major festivals.
The handset has a 2.2-inch wide screen that can display 65k colors. You can get G-588 for Rs. 4,799 that is really not a bad deal for a phone that has the looks of a BlackBerry!
